Words to Remember ...

Kiefer Library: Kiefer is the name of the Aims Community College Library--your library to use!

Library Card: You already have an Aims Library card. It is your student ID with your A number. This is what you use to checkout materials. A picture ID may also be used.

Library Catalog: Catalog is a database which has information about books and movies.

My Aims: Your MyAims information will be given to you by your teacher. You need to use this to access online library materials.

Off-Campus and On-Campus Access: Off-campus access is to allow you to get the book or article when you are not in school. Full text online library resources requires you to log in using your MyAims login.

Learning Commons: This is the physical space on the Greeley campus, College Center, 2nd floor. It includes Kiefer Library, the Comuter Lab, and Tutoring services. All are free for you to use.

e-book: An electronic or online book.

Periodical: Periodicals are magazines, journals, or newspapers.

High Plains Library: The public library in Greeley is a good place for books, magazines, and movies--all for free! Aims Library is happy to provide a library card for you to use at a High Plains Library. Farr branch is only a few blocks away from our Greeley campus.
