Textbook Online Resources

Did you know that with the purchase of a new textbook, you will acquire free access to your textbook's companion website?

These companion websites contain everything from chapter outlines to quizzes to supplementary materials (animations, cross-word puzzles, etc.). When it comes  to understanding the course material, the companion website is often your best resource.

Our Philosophy

Tutoring Services encourages cooperation between students, faculty and tutors.

We maintain that the student holds responsibility for learning in the following ways:

1.  Work through concepts and assignments prior to seeking tutoring

2.  Communicate with faculty, attend "Faculty Corners," visit during office hours

3.  Form study groups with other students; attend Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions or Guided Study Groups (GSG), if available

4.  Visit drop-in tutoring (Writing Center, Math and Science)

5.  Apply for individual tutoring, if needed, after seeking assistance through other methods listed above

6.  Use appropriate time management
